Tłumaczenie polskie: AEL, właśc. Alexandre-Édouard Lepage, jest francusko-kanadyjskim artystą muzycznym urodzonym w 1977 roku w Montrealu. Rozpoczął swoją karierę jako DJ i producent muzyki elektronicznej w montrealskich klubach na początku lat 2000. W 2003 roku wydał swój pierwszy album „L’Effet papillon” pod pseudonimem Ael, bardzo dobrze przyjęty przez krytykę. W 2006 roku jego drugi album „Le Dernier Voyageur”, opublikowany pod prawdziwym nazwiskiem, został jeszcze bardziej uznany niż pierwszy, umocnił jego pozycję jako jednego z najbardziej utalentowanych francusko-kanadyjskich artystów swojego pokolenia. W 2009 roku jego trzeci album „Les Chants du Nord” potwierdził jego reputację lidera francusko-kanadyjskiej sceny elektronicznej. AEL jest znany ze swojej obfitości muzycznej z wieloma albumami i singlami na koncie. W 2012 roku jego czwarty album „Étoiles filantes” został bardzo dobrze przyjęty zarówno przez krytykę, jak i publiczność. Z połączeniem unikalnych dźwięków elektronicznych i akustycznych, AEL jest uważany za jednego z najlepszych artystów muzyki elektronicznej swojego pokolenia, z kompozycjami zarówno melodyjnymi, jak i energicznymi, a także fascynującymi występami na żywo.
