AEL, cuyo nombre real es Alexandre-Édouard Lepage, es un artista franco-canadiense de música nacido en 1977 en Montreal. Comenzó su carrera como DJ y productor de música electrónica en los clubes de Montreal a principios de la década del 2000. En 2003, lanzó su primer álbum, "L'Effet papillon", bajo el seudónimo de Ael, recibido con excelentes críticas. En 2006, su segundo álbum, "Le Dernier Voyageur", lanzado bajo su nombre real, fue aún más aclamado que el primero, posicionándolo como uno de los artistas franco-canadienses más talentosos de su generación. En 2009, su tercer álbum, "Les Chants du Nord", confirmó su reputación como líder de la escena electrónica franco-canadiense. AEL es conocido por su productividad musical con varios álbumes y sencillos en su haber. En 2012, su cuarto álbum, "Étoiles filantes", fue bien recibido por la crítica y el público.
