Il gruppo di rock americano The Doobie Brothers è stato formato nel 1970 a San Francisco. Hanno raggiunto il successo commerciale con i singoli «Black Water» e «What a Fool Believes», che si sono entrambi classificati al numero uno nella Billboard Hot 100.
