Broken Back, whose real name is Jérôme Fagnet, is a French singer-songwriter of electronic music. He was born on August 10, 1990 in Brittany and started playing the guitar at the age of 15. Due to a herniated disc, he was forced to stay bedridden for a long period of time. It was during this period that he started composing music.
In 2012, he created a Soundcloud account where he published his compositions. They quickly gained attention and he then decided to fully dedicate himself to music under the pseudonym Broken Back, which reflects his accident.
His self-titled debut album was released in November 2016 and led to a major international tour. The artist is known for his unique voice and energetic stage performances. His diverse influences, ranging from folk to independent rock to electro, are evident in his upbeat and positive music.
In 2020, he released his second album titled "Good Days". It is a mix of pop, electro, and folk, with inspiring lyrics and positive music, for which he is widely recognized and appreciated.
