Dionne Warwick is an American artist born on December 12, 1940, in East Orange, New Jersey. As a singer, actress, and philanthropist, she is the cousin of composer Burt Bacharach, with whom she has frequently collaborated. Dionne Warwick achieved international success in the 1960s and 1970s with hits such as "Walk On By", "Do You Know the Way to San Jose", and "I Say a Little Prayer". She has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has been recognized as one of the 100 most influential women of the 20th century by Time magazine. In 2019, she was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
