Lexter

Lexter is a French singer born on June 3, 1984 in Paris. He began his career as a singer and composer for the electronic music group Noir Désir. In 2006, he released his first solo album, Noir Désir, which was a commercial success and helped him establish himself in the French music world. In 2009, his second album, Noir Désir II, was even more successful than the first. Lexter is considered one of the best French singers of his generation and has been compared to artists such as Jacques Brel and Georges Brassens. In 2010, he was named "Singer of the Year" at the Victoires de la musique, a prestigious French music ceremony.

Lexter grew up in a working-class neighborhood of Paris and began by playing music in the streets of the city. He was then spotted by a music producer who helped him record his first album.
