Dido is a British pop singer. She was born on December 25, 1971 in London, England. Dido began her music career as the lead singer of the trip hop group Faithless in 1995. In 1999, she released her debut solo album, No Angel, which was a commercial success and topped the charts in the UK. The album also achieved success in the United States, reaching number four on the Billboard 200. Dido has released two more albums, Life for Rent (2003) and Safe Trip Home (2008), which were also commercial successes. In 2013, she released her fourth album, Girl Who Got Away. Dido has sold over 32 million albums worldwide and has won numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards.
