"Räumwohnung is a German electronic music duo consisting of producers and DJs Peter Grädel (born in 1978 in Wuppertal) and Walter Merziger (born in 1977 in Mayen). They are best known for their single "Ich Will (Küssen)" released in 2002 and their single "36 Grad" released in 2006. Räumwohnung began their musical career at the end of the 1990s, when they met while working in a record store in Cologne. They began producing music together, and released their first single, "Es Ist Ein Fehler Zu Glauben", in 2001. The following year, they released their first album, Wohnzimmer, followed by the singles "Ich Will (Küssen)" and "Wo Sind Eure Hände". In 2004, Räumwohnung released their second album, Melancholisch Schön, which included the singles "36 Grad" and "Es Regnet". The album was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Dance/Electronica Album. In 2006, Räumwohnung released their third album, Apartment, which included the singles "Wo Sind Eure Hände" and "Ich Will (Küssen)".
