After signing with the New York label Forty Front Records at the age of 17, she released her first album, "Like Blood Like Mosquitoes," in 2006. Skylar Grey is best known for her successful collaborations with other artists, such as "Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem and Rihanna, "Coming Home" by Diddy-Dirty Money, and "I Need a Doctor" by Dr. Dre. Her musical style is a mix of pop, hip-hop, and electro, and her lyrics are often introspective and emotionally charged. In addition to her recording career, Skylar Grey has also composed film scores, including for "Fifty Shades of Grey" and "Suicide Squad."
