Sequentia is a medieval music ensemble based in Cologne, Germany. Founded in 1977 by Benjamin Bagby and Barbara Thornton, the ensemble consists of musicians specializing in European medieval music of the early Middle Ages. They have recorded over thirty albums, several of which have received international awards. The ensemble has toured in Europe, North America, and Asia, and has participated in many medieval music festivals.
