Reel 2 Real was a successful house music project in the 1990s. It was founded by producer and DJ Erick Morillo, who is originally from New York. Morillo is best known for their hit single "I Like to Move It", which became an anthem of 90s dance music. In addition to Morillo, the group included rapper Mark Quashie, also known as The Mad Stuntman, from Trinidad. Reel 2 Real was particularly popular in Europe where they released several other hits. Furthermore, their music was widely used in commercials and movies, contributing to their international popularity. The group disbanded in 1996, but their songs remain a pillar of dance music.
