Maxim Lany is a Belgian music artist born in 1980. He is known for his remixes of popular songs and his own tracks. He started his music career by playing classical and jazz music, but became interested in electronic music after hearing the songs of Daft Punk. In 2003, he released his first album, "Music for the People", which was well received by critics. In 2006, he released his second album, "The Future of the Funk", which was even better received than his first album. In 2009, he released his third album, "The Power of the Funk", which was highly acclaimed by critics and was a commercial success. In 2012, he released his fourth album, "The Funk of the Future", which was even better received than his first three albums.
