BIOGRAPHY
Sean DeClase, born January 1st, 1980 in New York, is an American producer, DJ, and musician. He began his musical career playing drums in an independent rock band, before turning to electronic production. In 2003, he founded the electronic music duo AudioFun with his friend and fellow DJ, Matt Young. Together, they released two albums, "The Sound of Young America" (2003) and "AudioFun" (2005), and played at numerous clubs and festivals across the United States. In 2006, DeClase began working solo and released his first album, "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test", in 2007. Since then, he has released two other albums, "The Future Is Now" (2009) and "The present is a Gift" (2011), and played at numerous clubs and festivals around the world. In 2012, DeClase founded the electronic music label "Dirtybird Records" with his friend and fellow DJ, Claude VonStroke. The label has released several albums and has received critical acclaim. In 2013, DeClase released his fourth album, "The Future Is Now", which was critically acclaimed and reached number one on the US electronic music charts. In 2014, he released his fifth album, "The present is a Gift", which received even more critical acclaim and reached number one on both the US and UK electronic music charts. Currently, DeClase resides in Los Angeles, California, with his wife and two children.
