BIOGRAPHY

Lipps Inc. was an American disco and funk group, known for its hit "Funkytown". The group was formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1978 by Steven Greenberg, who served as the producer, writer, and lead singer of the group. The other members of the group included guitarist and singer John Munson, bassist and singer Dave Rivkin, keyboardist and singer Matt Fink, and drummer and singer Stan Freeman.
