BIOGRAPHY
"GoldFish is a South African electronic music duo consisting of Dominic Peters and David Poole. The duo is well-known for their singles "Soundtracks and Comebacks" and "Fortune Teller", both of which topped the South African charts.
GoldFish formed in Cape Town in 2000, when Peters and Poole met while studying music at the University of Cape Town. The duo began making music together and released their first album, Perceptions of Pacha, in 2002. The album was a big success in South Africa, and the duo followed up with the release of their second album, Get Busy Living, in 2006.
The duo's third album, Three Second Memory, was released in 2012 and was a commercial and critical success. The album's lead single, "Soundtracks and Comebacks", was a huge hit in South Africa, topping the charts. The second single from the album, "Fortune Teller", also performed well, reaching the top of the charts as well.
GoldFish has won multiple awards, including the South African Music Award for Best Dance Album (Three Second Memory) and the MTV Africa Music Award for Best Dance Artist."
