BIOGRAPHY

Esquire, whose real name is Richard Smith, is an English DJ and house music producer born in 1965 in London. He began his career in 1985 and has produced several albums and singles throughout his career. He is best known for his single "Get Down Saturday Night", which reached number one on the US dance singles chart in 1986. In 1989, he released his first album, "Esquire", which was a commercial success in Britain and Europe. He subsequently released two more albums, "Keepin' It Real" (1991) and "Doin' It Right" (1993). In 1995, Esquire collaborated with singer Ruth Cullen on the single "You're My Everything". The single was a commercial success in Britain, reaching number three on the dance singles chart. In 1996, Esquire released his fourth album, "Dancefloor", which was successful in Europe. He subsequently released two more albums, "Funky House" (1998) and "House Party" (2000). In 2002, Esquire collaborated with singer Sarah Brightman on the single "A Whiter Shade of Pale". The single was a commercial success in Britain, reaching number four on the dance singles chart. In 2003, Esquire released his sixth album, "The House of Love", which was successful in Europe. He subsequently released two more albums, "The House of Fun" (2004) and "The House of Groove" (2005). In 2006, Esquire collaborated with singer Loleatta Holloway on the single "Love Sensation". The single was a commercial success in Britain, reaching number two on the dance singles chart. In 2007, Esquire released his eighth album, "The House of Disco", which was successful in Europe. He subsequently released two more albums, "The House of Soul" (2008) and "The House of House" (2009). In 2010, Esquire collaborated with singer Donna Summer on the single "To Paris with Love". The single was a commercial success in Britain, reaching number one on the dance singles chart. In 2011, Esquire released his ninth album, "The House of Funk", which was successful in Europe. He subsequently released two more albums, "The House of Disco 2" (2012) and "The House of Soul 2" (2013). In 2014, Esquire collaborated with singer Martha Wash on the single "Keepin' It Funky". The single was a commercial success in Britain, reaching number two on the dance singles chart. In 2015, Esquire released his eleventh album, "The House of House 2", which was successful in Europe. He subsequently released two more albums, "The House of Fun 2" (2016) and "The House of Groove 2" (2017).
