Chloe Martinez is a Franco-American musician and artist. Raised in both France and the United States, she studied classical music at the Conservatoire de Paris. She then went on to study at the University of California, Berkeley, where she obtained a Bachelor of Music. She later specialized in composition and electronic arts at the Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique (IRCAM) in Paris. Martinez is a multi-instrumentalist and singer. She frequently uses her cello as her main instrument in her compositions, having recorded classical and jazz albums as well. She has also created music for films and television shows. Based in Paris, Martinez continues her work in composition and musical performance.
