Libra is a French musical group formed in 1992 in Paris. The members of the group are Didier Morville (vocals, keyboards), Laurent Voulzy (guitar, vocals), Olivier Chastan (bass), and Philippe Alioth (drums). Libra's musical style is a blend of pop, rock, and electronic music. The group has released four studio albums, with the most recent being "Nous sommes Libres" in 2012. Didier Morville was born in Paris on October 10, 1966. He began playing the piano at the age of six and began composing his own music at the age of eight. He studied classical piano at the Conservatoire de Paris. Laurent Voulzy was born in Paris on December 18, 1964. He began playing the guitar at the age of thirteen and quickly began writing his own songs. He studied musical theory and composition at the Conservatoire de Paris. Olivier Chastan was born in Paris on March 3, 1967. He began playing the bass at the age of fifteen and studied musicology at the Sorbonne University. Philippe Alioth was born in Geneva, Switzerland on November 27, 1966. He began playing the drums at the age of thirteen and studied musicology at the University of Geneva.
