DJ Dado is an Italian disc jockey, remixer, and music producer, born on January 6, 1967 in Milan. He is best known for his involvement in the 1990s dance music scene and for his memorable remixes of classic new age music themes, including "X-Files", "The Mission", and "The Legend of Babel". His influences are diverse, ranging from the Pink Floyd early psychedelic period to the progressive rock album concept of The Alan Parsons Project, as well as a love for multiple different genres. He has notably stood out through the "Dream Dance Alliance" project, showcasing female vocals with a new age, trance, and chillout music aesthetic. Throughout his career, he has been involved in several fundamental musical projects for the Italian dance scene, including the "DDM - Different Drummer Movement", a hardcore dance project. DJ Dado is also one of the few Italian DJs to achieve international success, with over two million copies sold worldwide. In addition to his music work, DJ Dado has pursued a career in fashion and worked as a visual designer, bringing a unique visual aspect to his performances and artworks. He has also been very active in the entertainment sector, regularly using his DJ talents to add a musical element to various upscale events.
