Terence Trent D'Arby (born Terence Trent Howard on March 15, 1962 in Manhattan, New York) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and music producer. He achieved international success with his debut album Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby, released in 1987. He has sold over ten million albums worldwide and has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards.
