Michael Fortunati was an Italian-French singer born on July 26, 1966, in Genoa, Italy. He passed away on January 14, 2014, at the age of 47.
Fortunati began his career in 1986 by participating in the Italian television hit show "Sanremo Giovani". He then represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 with the song "Nel cuore nell'anima", finishing 13th.
After the Eurovision, Fortunati continued his career in France, where he experienced some success with the singles "Give Me Up" and "Into the Night". He also released several albums, including "Fortunati" (1995), "In the Name of Love" (1997) and "The Power of Love" (2003).
