Basshunter, born Jonas Erik Altberg, is a Swedish music producer and DJ. Born on December 22, 1984 in Halmstad, Sweden, he is best known for his 2006 studio album "LOL". This album made waves with popular tracks such as "Boten Anna", "DotA" and "Now You're Gone". His musical style is primarily eurodance and dance. Basshunter started producing music using his computer in 1999, using a music production software called Fruity Loops. He released his first album, "The Bassmachine", in 2004 on his own website. His popularity grew significantly in 2006 with his second album, "LOL", which reached number one on the Swedish charts. In addition to his music career, Basshunter has also appeared in several reality TV shows in Sweden and the UK, such as Celebrity Big Brother. Despite a slight decline in the music scene in recent years, Basshunter remains active and continues to produce music, solidifying his place as one of the most popular artists in the dance music scene in Europe.
