Gabry Ponte is een Italiaans DJ, producent en radio-presentator, wereldwijd bekend in de industrie van elektronische muziek. Hij is het best bekend als lid van het Italiaanse pop-dance duo Eiffel 65, die internationaal succes hadden met hun hit-single "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" in 1999. Geboren op 20 april 1973 in Turijn, Italië, begon Ponte zijn carrière als DJ door te spelen in verschillende clubs en discotheken in zijn geboortestad. Hij voegde zich bij de groep Eiffel 65 in 1998, en samen brachten ze drie albums en verschillende succesvolle singles uit in de jaren 2000. Het duo viel uiteen in 2005, maar herenigde zich in 2010. Naast zijn verplichtingen bij Eiffel 65, onderhield Ponte ook een succesvolle solo-carrière. Hij bracht zijn eerste solo-album, "Gabry Ponte", uit in 2002, gevolgd door "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. DJ" in 2004, en "Love Songs in the Digital Age" in 2012. Behalve zijn carrière als DJ en producent, is Ponte ook een gerespecteerd radio-persoonlijkheid in Italië. Sinds 2006 werkt hij voor de Italiaanse radio-station m2o waar hij zijn eigen show presenteert, "DEEJay Time". Gedurende zijn carrière ontving Gabry Ponte vele prijzen en nominaties voor zijn bijdrage aan elektronische muziek. Ondanks zijn succes, blijft hij een bescheiden en enthousiaste persoonlijkheid, toegewijd aan het produceren van muziek die inspireert en vermaakt.
